Dans le cadre des Assises Européennes de la Transition Energétique (AETE) qui se sont déroulées du 31 mai au 2 juin 2022 à Genève et qui ont réuni plus de 4000 personnes, la géothermie et notamment le Centre d’Excellence Caribéen dédié à la Géothermie (CECG) ont été mis à l’honneur lors de la plénière #11 « GÉOTHERMIE ET TERRITOIRES : COMMENT FAIRE ÉMERGER DES PROJETS DE QUALITÉ ? ».
L’objet de cette plénière est de porter un regard croisé sur les politiques de soutien à la géothermie en Suisse et en France. Outre le cadre législatif et réglementaire propre aux deux pays, ont été abordés les différents types de géothermie et leur soutien possible.
Sur scène, les échanges ont eu lien entre :
- Nathalie ANDENMATTEN, Présidente de l’association Géothermie-Suisse
- Fabrice BOISSIER, Directeur Général Délégué de l’ADEME
- Jean-Jacques GRAFF, Président de l’AFPG (Association Française des Professionnels de la Géothermie)
- Nicole LUPI, spécialiste géothermie, Office Fédéral de l’Energie
- Sylvie VANOUKIA, Présidente de la commission énergie du Conseil régional de la Guadeloupe, représentée en duplex par Mr Julien LAFFONT, Directeur de l’ Eau et de l’Énergie de la région Guadeloupe.
L’exemple de la centrale géothermique de Bouillante (Guadeloupe), implantée en plein centre bourg, a été cité à plusieurs reprises pour évoquer les sujets d’acceptabilité et d’intégration sociale et environnementale.
