Energy transition in the Caribbean

What if the Caribbean became a model for a resilient energy future ?

Such is the goal of the ETC Interreg project for “Energy Transition in the Caribbean”, which aims to establish active cooperation, in terms of energy management and the development of renewable energies, between Guadeloupe, other overseas territories and member states of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.

Three areas of focus

The ETC INTERREG cooperation project is centered around energy efficiency in buildings, clean energy in transportation, and the regional development of geothermal resources.

The project is co-financed to the tune of 75% by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) and the European Development Fund (FED) under the INTERREG 5 Caribbean program.
