The CARIBBEAN INTERREG PROGRAM – Energy Transition in the Caribbean (ETC) project shares the results of its energy performance study of public and commercial buildings with the Member States of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

On the occasion of the last steering committee meeting of WP 2.2 of the ETC project, the representatives of the member states of the OECS learnt about:

  • The inventory of the energy consumption of their public and commercial buildings,
  • Energy efficiency actions already implemented,
  • Current public policies,
  • Opportunities for improvement.

This meeting was the opportunity to discuss the results of the study carried out by ADEME. Subsequently, it will be necessary to help the Caribbean actors to implement concrete energy efficiency actions in the building and to maintain the collaboration between the Caribbean countries.
