Energy transition is a crucial topic for countries in the Caribbean region. It is in this context that the webinar “INNOVATING FOR ENHANCED CHARACTERIZATION AND EXPLOITATION OF GEOTHERMAL ENERGY IN THE CARIBBEAN” organised by ADEME and BRGM on Friday, June 2nd, 2023. And it is safe to say that it was a resounding success, with over 120 participants connected!
The “Energy Transition in the Caribbean (ETC)” project aims to support countries in the region in their transition towards locally produced renewable energies and to strengthen their resilience to climate crises. This webinar was an opportunity to highlight the potiental for innovating in geothermal energy sector of Caribbean volcanic islands.
